Shortcuts for Bold and Italic Text
Good morning, all.
I've been spending this morning trying to get comfortable with MS4, and set some preferences and style templates.
In MS3, as well in most other text programs, I have used the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl-B and Ctrl-I to toggle between bold and italic texts, respectively. These commands do not seem to work in MS4. I've checked in Preferences-->Shortcuts, and they are listed; as well as Ctrl-U for underline, which does work.
Ctrl-B is also listed as the shortcut for "append one measure," which is what is does. Ctrl-I does not seem to have any effect that I've noticed.
If it came to a choice between the two, I'd rather have Ctrl-B assigned to "Bold" rather than "append one measure."

Thank you--is there a way I could manually set preferences, until a universal fix is created?
