Getting double lyrics and double chort symbols upon import from .XML
Let me preface this post by saying I am a relative newbie to MuseScore so I apologize in advance if I ask an uninformed question. I am running MuseScore 3.6.2.5 on an older Mac.
I just imported an .XML file into MuseScore form a project I am working on in Digital Performer. I only imported three tracks. A bass, a lead line with lyrics and an extremely simple keyboard part. It is a pop song. So ...
First, when I open it up, I am getting double lyrics. One above the lead line and one below. (In DP, I had the lyrics below.) They seem to be laid out okay and are following the melody as they should. I want to get rid of one of the lines - not sure why there are two. I went back to DP and exported it one more time to make sure it was only a single melody with a single lyric attached. No change.
Second, I am getting two sets of chord symbols. Both are above the keyboard which is laid out on a grand staff. One on top of another. These are the simplest of chords, C G F and Amin. I only need one set, not two.
Any ideas n how to clean this up?
Thanks.
Oh, not sure what I should upload below, just going to include a screenshot for the moment.

In the meantime, is there an easy way to get rid of the extra chord symbols and the lyrics?

Looks like a bug in the XML export. You should report to Digital Performer, it seems it duplicates notes from voice 1 in voice 3 and chord symbols along with it?
