Style and page settings in templates
I noticed that in musescore 4 my private templates open with the musescore default style and page settings rather than with my modified ones. However, the reason for saving my own templates is exactly to have them with my preferred settings.
I believe that I misunderstand something about the software, so I would appreciate it if anybody could enlighten me on how to have the templates open reflecting the settings they were saved with.

Sorry for the delay. Here is one from the template folder.

OK, I see a difference in Format > Page settings, all page borders and the space setting.
Not sure whether this is intended to happen, best open an issue on GitHub about this.
Other style settings, like staff distance, header/footer are taken, as far vas I can tell all settings from Format > Style

for your custom styles you might want to save them to a file (format - save style) and set that file as default for new scores (and parts) in the general preferences

Thanks, I'll try that.

It works like a charm. I think there is nothing wrong with the software; it is designed to work like this. If I want to change the style I can still use the same templates.
