MuseScore Sounds
Has anyone had a problem downloading MuseScore Sounds and incorporating it into MuseScore 4? If so please contact me since I cannot make it work.

Thank you for e-mail. The download of MuseSounds continues and apparently finishes correctly but it is impossible to find the MuseSounds file on my computer. Can someone tell me where it is stored and why MuseScore 4 does not appear to pick it up?

In Windows, MuseSounds are stored in a hidden folder. You don't do anything with them except open MS4 and activate them in View/Playback Settings. You might have to have a score open, also.
Same process on a Mac.

Thanks for that and MuseScore 4 clearly recognises MuseSounds in View/Playback Settings. I have set MuseSounds to Active and made it the default. But neither an old score or a new one play correctly. It sounds as if the speakers are about 10 feet under water and crackling and the tempo is wrong. Any suggestions?

Try having the Mixer open.
