How to overlap same note - different voices - different duration
Please see attached.
This is for solo guitar and the C and the B are the same notes at the same position. I can't seem to move one note without moving the other note horizontally. Help?

For the note you want, select it, go to INSPECTOR, and change Horizontal Offset
Select either note head and press v to make it invisible and they will overlap.

From the handbook:
To force two offset noteheads in different voices to share a single notehead, use one of the following methods:
1. Make the smaller-value notehead invisible. This works for the majority of cases.
2. Select the smaller value notehead and in the Note section of the Properties toolbar change "Head type (visual only)" to that of the higher value note.
If #1 did not work, try #2. Otherwise attach the score.
