Suggestions from experienced Sibelius user
Hello everyone, I'm new to the MuseScore Forum,
I've been using Sibelius Software for around 18 years. I'm really keen to use Musescore, due to how the other software has changed its licensing over the years.
I would like to be able to contribute suggestions for future improvements to Musescore as at the moment, I'm finding it difficult to use, many of the advanced timesaving tricks I've learned over the years from Sib. can't be executed with Musescore at the moment.
I don't have any developer skills but fearing that there might be a risk of loosing something here, please let me know if there is a way that I might be able to contribute to the development of Musescore.
Happy to help,
Musegene,

Welcome to the forums!
I suggest that you feed improvement ideas one at a time into this Feature request forum. I have noticed in the past that posts which cover multiple suggestions tend to be less successful. Concentrating on one particular feature really helps!

Indeed. One post-one feature.
MU4 is not Sibelius. Nor is it any other notation software. It may interest you to know that things like selecting something and hitting "R" to have it repeated, and selecting a measure and having playback of that staff start at that point, are new additions. I come from Sibelius, also. So I have an idea of what you are talking about.

Thank you bobjp. MU4 wouldn't benefit from being like Sibelius, which in many ways MU4 has its own advantages. Anyway, I'll make sure to stick to the one feature per post format as recommended.
