MuseScore 4 not working under Windows 11
Hi,
I downloaded the latest version of MuseScore (4.0.2.) and it turns out that the software does not work on Windows 11 on my computer. Only the MuseScore home window is displayed.
My computer runs on an AMD Ryzen 5 4500 6 core, GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card, 32 GB of memory and a Sound Blaster XAE-5 plus sound card.
I installed version 3.6.2 of MuseScore and it works.
Do you have any idea where the problem could come from?
Waiting for a response from you.
Sincerely, Eric

Do you mean this 'Home' window?:
Can you open this score in MuseScore 4?
Test.mscz
Save to your computer, right click on the file, then choose to open with MuseScore 4.

Thank you for the answer.
The only window I have for MuseScore 4 is the screenshot I took. This is MuseScore 3 but MuseScore 4 only displays this window.
The software interface does not appear

You say you have both MuseScore 3 and MuseScore 4 installed on your computer...
This file is for MuseScore 3: Test3.mscz
This file is for MuseScore 4: Test4.mscz
Can you open either of them?
(Windows defaults to open either MS3 or MS4 when it encounters a mscz file. A MS4 file can't be opened in MS3.)

That picture is of the MuseScore 3 splash screen, it isn't displaying the MuseScore 4 home window at all. Can you explain more detail what is actually happening - how you are trying to start MuseScore 4, and what exactly happens when you do so? A screen recording (video) might be more useful here.

As for MuseScore 3, everything works.
For MuseScore 4 I only have the splash screen and then the app does not open.

The video shows only shows you waiting a couple of seconds, but I guess you're saying, even if you wait a full minute it never appears? Have you tried rebooting? And any VST instruments installed that night be interfering?
I also note it looks like you are starting via a non-traditional method - a shortcut you placed manually in another folder, it seems? What happens if you start MuseScore normally, via the program icon it installs itself?

I tried restarting Windows, I launched MuseScore 4 from its root directory and just the splash screen is displayed. I changed the sound card settings but nothing happened.
What is curious is that MuseScore 3 works very well.
For MuseScore 4, I didn't install a VST.
I think the problem comes from my configuration
