A button to switch between Muse sounds and basic
Hi! I was about to ask in the support section if there was a way to not run the really CPU hungry Muse sounds while drafting. 30 seconds of poking in the right menus and I found the playback setup to swap back to basic, which is exactly what I needed.
I really like what muse sounds does, but I can't draft or modify anything with the slow and choppy reaction times. Can we get a button to toggle between basic and muse sounds? I attached a screenshot of CPU usage while simply scrolling through one part in a score. I'm not running a monster computer, but it's a decent engineering system. I have a feeling that's not to my benefit given the CPU is probably spending a lot of energy trying to get it all exactly right...

Take a look at the downloads page to see the specs needed to run MU4. My one computer that just meets them runs MU4 fine. My other computers are underpowered. And they don't run MU4 without extensive adjustments to audio devices.
Yes, MU4 uses more cpu.

6 core i7 runs up to 5GHz. 80GB RAM, 4GB Quadro GPU. It should be fine.

At he very least, in MU4 go to Edit>Preferences>(I/O) and set the Buffer to 4096. Also go to your audio device settings and un-check "Exclusive mode".
