Between sections there is a break in playback. Can this break length be customized? (Shortened)

I'm writing down some etudes and upon playback, there there is a break after the final bar line - before the next section is played.

Can this break length be customized?

I use these for students to listen and familiarize the etude before/as they attempt it on their instruments. Being able to make this break shorter or longer would come in handy.

Workaround for lengthening it I found on the forum is - adding more bars after the break and hiding them (making them invisible from the property menu).

But, can it be shortened as well without visibly changing the music?
