Playback is broken
My playback is not functioning properly. It has an echo and is scratchy and out of sync. Can't find any way to fix it. Help would be appreciated.

Two things that often help:
1) increase the buffer size in Edit / Preferences / I/O
2) find the settings for your audio device (someone in your OS settings, probably) and change the sample rate to 44.1 kHz

Thanks, tried this. I reverted back to Musescore 3.0 and the sound works fine. It's a musescore problem but there is no assistance available from them.

Not sure what you mean by "them" - we volunteer participants here on the forum - you, I, and everyone else - are the only "them" there is here. We all try to help each other. You found the sample rate setting for your audio device and set it to 44.1 and the problem persisted? Can you post a screen screen of the dialog where you made that selection, also a link to a video showing the issue itself? We would love to help sort out whatever is causing this issue on your system.
