Customized dynamics
Hello. In Musescore 3.6 we can create customized dynamic symbols with any text we want and adjust their properties to any dynamic level we want and even add them to a customized palette. In Musescore 4 the playback properties from dynamic text is greyed out. But using only the default dynamics from Musescore sometimes sounds too sudden. Please, bring back the possibility of creating custom dynamic markers that have effect in playback. It would not do any harm to the new mixer or to muse sounds but would bring a lot of help.

FYI, the plan is to introduce new automation lanes to give far better control than what was possible before.

I've been testing nightly versions searching for improvements because as far as 4.0.2 it's very restrictive. Do you know if the new automation lanes are coming soon?
(By the way, thank you for porting the check harmony rules plugins to 4.x. It's very helpful to check polyphony and voice leading.)

I don’t think major new changes with respect to dynamics playback are expected for 4.1, but thing like setting dynamics per staff within piano or maybe even per voice might. Also Muse Sounds might start supporting velocity. But the bigger changes won’t happen until 4.2 or so.

I tried to change the velocity settings of notes but with no effect in muse sounds. If at least it worked I could tweak my music.

Yes, as I said, Muse Sounds support for velocity is hopefully coming fairly soon - not clear if it will be 4.1, but it's a less big change than the automation stuff. Meanwhile you can of course use MS Basic for any passages where you feel the need to tweak velocity.
