using a midi keyboard with Muscore 4
Hi, I have watched the muscore video for setting up my Keystationmini32 and for using it to inpuit notes. I've done everything by the book, but after allowing me to play two or three separate notes with the keyboard, inputted onto the score, it stops working. I unplug and plug in again, reset, am allowed three more notes via the keyboard, then nothing. Anyone have any idea what's going on?

Make sure you have the latest driver for your keyboard and that it is plugged in and turned on before you launch MuseScore. If it stopes working you have to shut down MuseScore and go through the process again.

Do you have any suggestion for a driver?

I have put the USB straight into the PC. What do you suggest for a driver? I'm not too experienced with this. Thank you!

I looked this up at M-audio and it is said that no driver is necessary as Keystation should work plugging USB straight into the PC. I have Windows 11 and a new laptop. The weird thing is that the keyboard shows up in preferences and actually sounds for the first and second note, but then it disappears.

But I think you still need a driver. One is listed on their site. It is so the computer fully recognizes the keyboard.
