MuseSounds

I feel like there should be something to swap musesounds throughout the score, similarly to the Change Instruments Text. You could set the initial sound using the mixer, then plop down this Change Sound text and it'd change to whatever musesound you set and then past that point it would display that new sound in the mixer.

Why not simply use Change Instrument? That's the whole point - there aren't multiple Muse Sounds for a single instrument anyhow. Changing from saxophone to flute or whatever is a change of instrument.

What if you wanted to switch between the Musesound and MS basic? Or maybe wanting to change the tone of violins by switching between the violin 1&2 Musesounds? I find the Contrabass Musesound extremely limiting because of it's range, because it is nowhere near the actual limit of an upright. So if I want a passage that's in higher register I have to switch to MS basic. Also, I feel like MS basic just works better in some instances if you want a really solid and in-your-face sound. Also switching between different types of cymbals, ie suspended and crash, since suspended doesn't have it's own instrument I have to rely on the musesounds.

Ah, for those sorts indeed the facility being designed for changing sounds only will be useful. Meanwhile, though, it totally works to add an instrument change to something relate enough that it won't alter the clef or key, then use the mxier to change the sound. So, change from violin to violins. For cymbals, suspended cymbals and crash cymbals are different instruments, so an instrument change is appropriate in any case. However, it does seem they aren't hooked up properly - Crash Cymbal is mapped to the suspended cymbal sound, Cymbal to Piatti, and Cymbals to MS Basic. I suggest opening an issue on GitHub requesting that be straightened out.
