When exporting to XML, certain textual elements disappear.
When exporting to XML, certain textual elements disappear.
In Musescore 4.1.1 - upon exporting to XML - subtitle, composer, lyricist (and probably other textual elements as well ) are not preserved.
When the XML is reloaded - they are not there anymore.
See examples attached.

I can't reproduce.
Except when I don't select "Export all layout"
OK, that seems a bug, and a bad one. But not a regression, 3.6.2 does the same

This was done by design. The reasoning dates back to MusicXML 1.1. The header and footer text are exported as MusicXML credit elements. In MusicXML 1.1 the credits are untyped text. Exporting them without layout leaves an importer with texts without any information about what it means and where to put it.

OK.
Thanks.
Is it about to be promoted in a way that conforms to the common sense?
Other software products - which I am familiar with - line up with that basic expectation...
Thanks.

But we're not at MusicXML 4, so this might be a reason to reconsider that design?
