This is a surprising question. Your initial question implied you had it connected to your computer but no notes were enterd in MuseScore when you presed the keys of your (Yamaha) MOD6+.
If in fact you have not connected your keyboard to your computer, there are two options, I'm guessing.
1. connect with a USB cable to your computer. Use the "USB to Host" socket with a USB-B connector, and connec the other end which has a USB-A connecter, to your computer. That will hopefully establish a MIDI connectionl.
2. If you have a (connected) audio interface with MIDI input (the circular "DIN" connectors), you can connect a regular MIDI cable from your MOD6+

Make sure you have the latest drivers for your modx. Turn on and plug in your modx before starting MuseScore.

Then you need to read the handbook on how to make it work in MuseScore. It seems some parts are still to be written there, though.
