Chord instrument
Using Musescore 4.1.1 - How do I change the chord instrument? I've created a new score using Accordion, but the chord plays Piano, even though it shows Chords_Accordion in the mixer. The sound dropdown does not offer options to change (only MS Basic and Soundfonts)

For now, you'll need a soundfont dedicated to accordion (the next update will include the ability to selects within a soundfont). A simple solution is to download the "split" version fo MS Basic I provide here - https://community.masteringmusescore.com/c/resources/ms-basic-individua…

Thanks Marc - that solved the problem.
It does lead to more questions: In MuseScore a Piano chord 'dies' away - as it should. However the Accordion chord lingers on till the next chord is played - any thoughts on how to stop it after say one or two beats?

That's a property of the chord symbol, which you can change.
