how to export only one staff?
hi, i've been doing some work in MuseScore, and i would like to know if it is possible to export only one staff/instrument in a work with other instruments

How can one export only one staff of a pair of linked staffs: e.g., the left hand of a piano part? I figured out how to display only one staff, but the other one still sounds on playback (and will presumably export in MIDI as well).

I would have expected that you could select just the lower staff of a piano part, and then from the menu choose:
File > Save selection ...
But having tried it, that saves both staves of the piano part. Not helpful!
So:
- add a separate part (bass clef)
- copy the entire lower staff of the piano part
- paste into your new bass clef part

I'm using that as my work-around, but was hoping for something more elegant. But thank you for giving it a go, Daniel!
