MuseScore 4 crashes no matter what!
So I have this strange little square in the middle of the program that is just empty and shows whatever is running on the PC in the background at the moment in it or just my wallpaper. However the moment I click on litterly anything and I mean anything the program crashes with no messages. I've tried reinstall, running nothing but MuseScore and many many things.
Like the white square on the screenshot. That is how far I get but the program will just close down without any reasons the moment I click on anything.

On Windows? You can try to repair MuseScore 4. I have Windows 10 where the menu path would be:
Control Panel > Programs > Programs and features > find MuseScore 4 in list > click Repair tab

Sadly didn't work (Windows 11, PC is very new). Didn't have any issues the first few months on the this PC. Suddenly after an update or something the program just began to act this way.

Re-install won't do any good unless you can search your computer for anything related to MU$ and delete it. Well except for your scores and special fonts.

Well I could try that.
EDIT: Well didn't work or I didn't find every file. Such a strange error, sad I cannot write new music or finish the ones I was working on.

Until you can get MS4 sorted out, you could install try installing MS3 on your new computer. If that doesn't work either, then your Windows 11 OS is probably damaged in some way.
MS3 is available as MS 3.6.2 through the Downloads page link "Older versions" which leads eventually to "Older and unsupported versions":
https://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/musescore-nightlies/windows/3x/stable/
Scroll right to the end to find the final 3.6.2 version, download and install the .msi file. If you then need help in converting a score in MS4 format back to MS3 format, just ask here.
I am using a MacBook macOS 13.5.2. When I try to open MuseScore, it begins to load but then gets hung up and has to be manually closed (Force Quit).
I understand I could download MuseScore 3.x, but that does me no good. The score I need to work on was created in 4.x (can't tell you exactly because I can't access the menu).
I appreciate any help. Thanks.
