Usually adding the lyrics should take care of getting additional space.
You can also use staff spacers, or increase the staff distance. You may need to increase the lyrics top and bottom margin

But to be clear: you shouldn't need to use these. You should find space already increases autoamtically as you add verses. If this is not happening, it could be you are doing something incorrectly, and adding a spacer might make things worse in the long run. So if you are finding space not being added automatically as you add verses, please attach your score here so we can see what is going on.

If you you just like to adjust the space between 2 staves only, you can use a spacer. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/breaks-and-spacers#add-spacer

I just managed to bungle my way through a fix in Musescore4 that I'm going to post here mainly so that I can try and reconstruct it my own selfe if needs be.
