Notes on charts
Hello friends,
I love the software! I'm a bass player and I recently took up an advice from Adam Neely to chart songs through notation software when learning them, to both remember them better and also for convenient archiving.
I'm new to the software. Typically I like to divide the chart into song sections, with rehearsal marks, "A", "B" etc, and then I make a Ctrl+T text block in the final bar of the song, in which I write out the song for, eg. "A B A A B". I also sometimes would like to add notes like "minor pentatonic works well here", or whatever. Just random notes.
I find it a little cumbersome that text is then locked to the bar. If I end up adding changes to that bar, it deletes the notes.
Is there a way to unanchor text from a bar, so that it is freely movable, and not connected to the chart itself?

Thanks for replying.
I installed the plugin, but this adds a pop-up window within the software, to add notes to.
I'm simply looking for an option to add a text box to the chart, that i can move around freely without affecting the score.
Is there no such option?

No there is no such option. You can put text on a measure (or actually a note or rest in a measure) or in a frame.
