Bugs in Musescore 4.2.0.233521125 revision eb8d33c
This may have been posted before and is probably not exhaustive, but I have found 2 bugs:
I appended a text frame. It kept disappearing whenever I did anything to the score, but re-appeared when I quit the program and re-started it.
The bar count does not alter when you configure a bar to be excluded from the count. Again it altered when I quit the program and re-started it.

There's another bug that I forgot. The window that shows the program crashing comes up without the program actually crashing. It often happens when the program is quit. If you click the red dot (I have a Mac) and you haven't quit the program, it runs OK as if nothing has happened.
All these 3 bugs apply to the Mac version. I cannot comment on the Windows version.

I reported a similar bug and sent crash logs from Apple. I'm using a Mac Mini M1, and when I close Musescore (click the red dot), it frequently crashes. I never "quit" Musescore.
What I see is that Musescore looks like its closed, but then I get the crash message.
The crash report from Apple includes:
"Notes: PC register does not match crashing frame (0x0 vs 0x139249C44)".

I too have a Mac mini (M1) with Sonoma 4.2.1. Is that a clue?

There seem to be multiple reports of this problem from people with Mac Mini M1 (like me), so I should think so. I haven't seen it in the previous revisions of Musescore 4.
