Files created in Muse Score 3 don't open in Muse Score 4
I've a new computer and have installed Muse Score 4.2 (via flatpak) but my old scores, created in MS3 won't open when I click on them. Either if I open MS4 and select open/file nor if I click on the score file. In both cases, nothing happens. I also have a MuseScore 3.6 Appimage on my computer and that works fine and the files open in that OK.

Files created in MuseScore 3 do open with MuseScore 4, there's absolutely no doubt about it.
If it doesn't work for you, well, install MuseScore (4.2.1 now) with AppImage (not flatpak)

They seem to be loading OK now. I don't know why there was a problem before but whatever it was it seems to have resolved itself.
BTW, the advantage of flatpak is it puts a launcher on the main menu and creates the file associations.

As does the appimage when using the -install option
