When score is in continuous view, the line that follows notes being played is off screen for a while.
I run my scores in continuous view. When playing the score, the blue line that follows the notes being played goes off screen for a few notes after it reaches the right edge of the screen and moves to the left edge, so the notes cannot be seen.

Did you turn off the "Pan score automatically" button on the toolbar? If so, turn it back on. If you continue to have trouble, please attach your score, and ideally also a screen recording so we can see what you are seeing. Then we can understand and assist better.

Pan score automatically is on. This happens on my computer and my laptop, so is not related to screen size. It never happened on MuseScore 3, so somewhere is a programming change.
Attahed is the score where it is most prominent, but it is there on all my scores.
Here is a link to a video - taken with my camera as I have no way to record in my computer - https://youtu.be/XHAIyLciBgE
Hope this helps and I appreciate your looking into it :-)

Your video is private, so we can't see it. Also, you don't need any special software to record videos on your computer - all major operating systems provide screen recording facilities built in. Plus there re any number of free web-based screen recorders.
I don't see any particular problem with the playback cursor when I play your score.
BTW, you didn't say originally you were talking about an experimental prerelease build of MU4, that's always good information to include when asking about anything other than the current release (3.6.2).

Video changed to unlisted, so you should see it now and you will see the problem I am having.
Sorry, I thought I had posted in MS 4 bug reports - my error.
I will investigate video recording in Windows 11.

The score below shows the problem better, does it show it on your computer?

I see the video. I guess you mean, the screen redraw happens a little too late? I thought you were saying it wasn't happening at all. i see that on this score. I imagine it's connectdd to the tempo changes; MuseScore 4 builds still have a number of problems relating to those. Definitely worth opening an issue on GitHub.

One year on and the problem still exists.
Is there any estimates as to when it will be fixed?

Can you post a link to the GitHub issue? Then we can check to see if anyone has been able to reproduce the problem and if it has been tagged, prioritized, or assigned.
