So, for some reason, in Musescore 4.3, I can't edit my beams. My desktop has met the requirements but still, any way to fix this???

What do you mean by "edit"? And how do you do (try) it?

I mean that to connect my beams or not. And you do it from the beam properties palette.

Which note length are you trying to join?

What happens, if you select the notes you want to beam and press the 6th item from left in the beaming palette?
For the record, there is currently an issue in 4.3 which will be fixed in 4.3.1.
This issue is when using dotted notes and rests.
