Repeats inside repeats just dont work

Because that is musically incorrect and deliberately not implemented. Don't use nested repeats.

I gave a REALLY bad example man, this is what i mean:

D.S. does not play any repeats by default.
If you need this, you must activate the "Play repetitions" checkbox in the D.S. properties.
And then it is also a good idea to add the text "con rep." to get "D.S. con rep.". This is for the musicians, the checkbox is for MuseScore.

Use the combinatin with other repeat commands as there are D.S. or D.C.

Sorry, I was replying to your very first example (May 13, 2024 - 22:30), which you changed after my reply. It was the example with the nested repeats...
I have attached the original example again. Because my answer from May 14, 2024 - 07:55 no longer matches the current attachment to your initial question!

Nah i knew that, just that the original example was not what i was trying to show, because i didn't want to start the piece from the start.
It is an issue because it causes confusion. An End-Repeat jumps back to the most recent Start-Repeat... or does it? DC and DS, Codas, Fine etc. were created to help make scores more navigable.
