How to Inhibit Stem between triplet and next notes from being joined
Sorry for adding a further request!
In measure 16 of the attached muescore score, there is a triplet with a beam coupled with 2 16th notes.
I cannot figure out how to get the beam of triplet "de-coupled" from the 2 16th notes (that I want coupled with the same beam).
I tried that "beam box" thing, and it changes all of those notes... with no common beam.
I'd be grateful for your suggestion.

I selected the first 1/16 note and hit "Break beam left" from the Beam palette.

Well, I've been accused of many things. But "logical" isn't one of them. There are many things in the Beam Properties that act odd sometimes.

I can understand why some folks may say that.
However, for this one and your method.... it really is logical: you've systematically separated the "issues" by clicking on that note on the right, and then told musescore to chop the beam off at the right.
That was really logical!

Woops! My bad!

You can also manipulate the stems and beams of the notes to line everything up nicer.
