Bolded line symbol on sheet music meaning
I am a piano player and I have recently been playing this sheet music. However, I don’t really know what does this bolded line symbol under bars mean. I am a new piano player so I asked people around me who plays piano what they mean but none of them know. May I kindly ask what does this symbol mean and is it about pedals? If so, which pedal is it and is there anything I have to be aware when playing? Many thanks

Looks like a rather odd way to notate pedaling.
Welcome aboard!
Those appear to be (sustain/damper) pedal lines.
Go to menu item: Format > Style > Pedal lines and see if you can re-set the 'Line thickness' by clicking the circular arrow.
If that doesn't help, attach the score (i.e., the .mscz file).
