Making a piece

I made a score of a bass line and it was complete, and I pressed the reverse button twice and all the work got deleted without asking if I should save. when i opened Musescore, it gave me a message asking if i would like to restore the work since the app closed unsuspectingly and when I clicked "okay", it brought be to a clean score. I am very upset because i took so long to complete it and it cleared all of my work.
