Mute with articulation
If I have a muted trumpet and add an accent to a note, the accented note cancels out the mute.

I call it a trumpet with a mute. I was thrilled to find that in the latest MuseScore release, adding "Mute" to the trumpet part actually produces the proper sound (except in the case I noted).

Ok . I use MS 3.6.2 and it works fine , no problem with accents for muted trumpet . I use the classic soundfound . I let a link https://musescore.com/user/7245146/scores/14621260
