Different instruments for each section
Recently, I asked whether it is possible to write multiple songs in one MuseScore file and I was told I could achieve that by adding section breaks and verticle frames at the end of each song. But now, I want each song (or section) to have it's own set of instruments. And for this, I don't want to use the "Hide empty staves within systems" feature.

Well, that's how you do this.
Picture this: Section I has piano, trumpet, and flute. Section II has piano, trombone, and F horn. You simply add piano, flute, F horn, trumpet, trombone. With "Hide empty staves" unchecked, you enter all the notes in both sections. Once complete, check the "Hide empty staves" checkbox. Now each section will show only the included instruments.
In my opinion, it's MUCH easier to simply put each individual song in its own file. If you want to combine the scores into a book of some sort, do this with Adobe Acrobat (or similar) with the PDFs of each song.

Well, like I said in the post, do not want to use the "Hide empty staves..." property, I want each section to be unique, with it's own set of instruments.

Then you cannot use MuseScore. MuseScore does not support this.

MuseScore should just add features that users need. They should make an option of making every section unique, an option that allows every section have it's own properties, it's own set of instrument, etc.

If you could make it so that each section had the same number of instruments, then you could use the "Change instruments" function at the beginning of each section.
