Lyrics in a score
In writing lyrics for a choral group with MuseScore, how do you create an underline at the end of a word that ties to the end ofa group of tied notes? I did it once but cannot figure out how I actually did it and can't find any documentation or palette tool that will let me create a word like this, where the end of the word is indicated to hold until the end of the tied group of notes.
To - geth - er.______
Thank you in advance for any info you can provide. Or even a clue as to where I could look for the answer.
Best regards,
Steven Kacsmar

Your "underline" is called "melisma"

Thank you so much for your response. I still have a tiny problem, my MAC keyboard has Control, Option and Command but no ALT. I am on MAC OS 14.0, Sonoma.
Very Best Regards,
Steven

Never mind. User error. I tried hitting Shift Underscore for an extra long note and voila. I now have an easy way to enter Melismas as needed! Thank you!

ALT on a Windows machine is the same as OPTION on a Mac.
