Is playing BRUSHES possible in the new DRUMLINE?
Hello,
If a drummer comes by here, please tell me if the sound of brushes playing on snare drum has been added and reproduced on the player in this new drum kit or not? Thanks (it saved me from having to download it otherwise)

I believe that the snare instrument has a brush hit.
A note, though: the Drumline sound pack is pretty far from a drumkit; you’d be better off with the drumkit found in Muse Percussion. The Drumline is specifically for a marching battery, and you sound like you are looking for a kit sound with brushes. I don’t believe that’s available but I’m not positive.

I think you can get the sound of the right hand, i.e.hitting the drum like with a regular drumstick. But the swoops of the left hand I have yet to see supported. The problem is that you want to control both the start and stop of the sound (midi note on/note off) which you do not do for other drums. You just hit them (midi note on).
few drum plugins support this, and e-drums do not support this. And MuseScore does not support this as far as I know.

I specify that I am looking for the "set of rubbed brushes" because indeed in the MS Basic player we find "Brush" (1, 2 and 3) but the 3 only produce the sound of short brush strokes but not the sound of brush rubbed long on the snare drum. In jazz, the basis of brush accompaniment is that one hand of the drummer plays a continuous friction (for example a round note in the left hand) and the other hand punctuates the rhythm with short strokes.
