Tnx - it worked!
Still dont know how this happened..
Try the following:
1. WIN + R and type cmd, then press ENTER
2. copy/paste:
set QT_QUICK_BACKEND=software&& "C:\Program Files\MuseScore 4\bin\MuseScore4.exe"
then press ENTER
if there is no difference, try another one:
1. repeat step 1
2. copy/paste:
set QSG_RHI_BACKEND=opengl&& "C:\Program Files\MuseScore 4\bin\MuseScore4.exe"
then press ENTER
Please let us know if you see any difference.

What does WIN + R mean?
In reply to What does WIN + R mean? by elsewhere
The Windows key + the R key
Not every keyboard has the former, it is one of the keys left of the space bar, between Alt and Ctrl

Open a (Windows) window and enter any program that you want to run. Here it is the command console.

R gives me the calculator (rekenmachine) (Windows 10 Dutch). So it just means: go to DOS I assume
EDIT: I got it now: you have to hit R with Windows key still down. I know a quicker way: type here to search
