What operating system are you using? Which version of MuseScore? What keyboard are you using (which language)? Which key are you trying to use as "the keyboard input for the Natual sign"? Shifted? Control? Alt?

Windows 10 fully updated, latest version of Musescore, Italian keyboard.
The tooltip on the Natural button states that I could type «equals».
The «equals» sign on Italian keyboards is shift + 0.

Known issue and same on German keyboards, it is the Shift that went missing
