Prima volta open in musescore 4
Hello,
While using Musescore 4, I need to add a prima volta open, and can only find a seconda volta open, which I can't seem to modify by changing the 2 to 1.
It seems it was possible in musescore 3 with inspector (switch no end ?), but I cannot find inspector in musescore 4.
How to do that in musescore 4 ?
Thanks for your help
Arnaud

Open prima voltas are rare things You will have to modify a closed one.
Add a closed volta then in Properties, remove the ending hook.
You can then CTRL+SHIFT+ Drag it to a palette do that you can use it elsewhere.
See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/voltas#change-playback
And

Thanks Steve
"Select volta / properties / end hook choice" works.
Still al lot to learn :)

Primae voltae are usually closed and encompass the last measure or few measures immediately before a repeat. What piece of music do you have where this is different? Or, maybe you are trying to do something that is better done in a different way?

New and very interesting for me: when the 1st Volta is used in this piece with or without end hooks, it behaves differently!
