Changing voices in a score
It seems that changing voices in a one staff doesn't work. Voice 1 and 2 is possible but if I want to change a note to the 3th voice nothing change (with Ctrl + Alt + 3).
If I want to change note to voice 3 for example the G in measure 1and the B flat in measure 2 seems not possible. Or the F in measure 6. Etc.
By the manual it should work ?
Hope there is a solution
Kind regards,
Lázaro Tejedor

This is possible with MuS 3.7. Select the note and press Ctrl+Alt+3.
But why do you need voices 3 or 4 in this case? See my picture, in measure 1 the G was put in voice 3 (to prove that it works), but in measure 2 the B remains in voice 1. You simply write this with B and Shift+E for the E note.

in Mu4 too, it is just not that obvious, as the voice 3+4 buttons ae hidden by default

2 things:
1. In Version 4, to display the buttons for voices 3 and 4, you need to click on the cogwheel in the toolbar, and open the eye icons - image below.
2. But even if these buttons are hidden, this should not interfere with the operation of the shortcuts. Ctrl + Alt + 3 (the 3 on the numeric keypad), ditto for Ctrl + Alt + 4 work for me (4.4.3, Windows10), hidden or visible buttons.
This can be seen in the changing color of the cursor (orange for Voice 3 and red for Voice 4). But it's better to display buttons, of course, so you can control what you're doing more easily.
If you really have a problem with one of these shortcuts, which can happen, redefine them as your wish (in Edit / Preferences / Shortcuts).

Hi Cadiz and Jojo,
Thank you!
This was what I was looking for. Now it did work
Now I tried with cmd + alt (instead ctrl + alt) (on mac) with 3 and 4 on the numeric keypad and magic: ik works!
Kind regards,
Lázaro

Thank you for your comment Hilde,
You are right in this case. But as a guitar player different voices in one staff can be very handy and it's visual easier.
I wanted to use les tied notes That makes the music more clear for my students. And that is possible by using more voices instead of 1st and 2nd voice.
Kind regards,
Lázaro

But when you print them out, they look identical! What's the difference?
