Increase same note from silent to loud?
Hello,
I'd like to choose a single note in Musescore 4 and have it slowly increase from completely silent to loud. Exponential increase and not incremental if that makes sense. Either over one bar, or ideally multiple bars.
I tried fooling around with dynamics and velocity but could not find a solution. Google searches did not make it clear to me either.
I'm no expert, and so perhaps I've missed something obvious.
Does anyone have a solution for this? Any ideas are much appreciated, thank you.

With MuseScore Studio 4.4, you can place dynamics and hairpin anchor points at a defined division point - even if there is no rest or note at that position.

Another way is to use a Niente circle at the point of the crescendo mark.
This mean that you begin from "Nothing" and gradually increase in volume.
Look up Niente circle in the handbook. Jeff

There is also the "n" niente symbol, available in the "more" section of the dynamics pallet.
