deleting measures causes first and second endings, and hairpins, to move
Hi,
I am reducing a score for a performance as certain sections have been edited out for this specific date. To remove measures in the middle of the score, I have used the cmd+delete function to get rid of certain sections. This works great, except for the fact that the first and second endings, hairpins, and other formatting does not "snap" to new location. Instead, these elements stay in the measure number that they originated in, effectively moving them forward one measure for every previous measure that I have deleted. Must I go in and manually adjust these elements once I have made my edits? This would take me forever with nearly a 500 measure score and multiple parts.

In order to get anyone to help (rather than guess) with a problem with a score, please post the score. Or post a segment of the score so long as that segment demonstrates the same behaviour.

Agreed. I've been trying this on a score of mine, and can't get the same results.
I found that by resetting the parts, I could get the hairpins and first/second endings to appear in the correct places.
Here is the attached files - File A being the original, with hairpins and endings located correctly. File B has the original measure 83 deleted, so all of the markings are shifted one bar. I have only found this to be the case in the parts, not on the score.
