What is the cause
Something does not work with the dynamics in the following example. At least not for me using 3.6.2 or 3.7.

I right-clicked and selected all notes; Via Inspector I reset the last two options ( Velocity Type).

Sounds normal to me. (I'm using MuS 4.4.4, the current version ... for the next few days :-) The fortissimo is loud and the pianissimo is soft. What are you expecting that you're not hearing?

Yes, I have tried several of my scores in v4 only to see that I have to redo a lot of work. Is it so difficult to prevent in v4-coding? An option at least to keep...

The reason for this behaviour, I do not know as the example is based on another person’s transcription.
Easy to fix though, thanks to nice experts on this site!

It isn't an XML import either, so no. It is a proplem with the original author to have seet these manually.
Or copy/pasted that particular from a MIDI import

Select all notes (or those of measure 3), set the velocity type to "Offset" and the value to "0".
In measure 3, the type is "User" and the value is "85". This overwrites the dynamic value "pp".
