An update broke the ability to type # in the chord symbol input box.
I have an italian qwerty keyboard. # is AltGr+à (two buttons right of L).
Works in musescore 3 for sure, worked in several 4.x versions I used for a while, doesn't work now (I just installed the most recent update but I hadn't used much the last few ones).

4.5.1 fixes that, got released 2 days ago
"I just installed the most recent update"
Which is it? Version 4.5.1 (released just two days ago), which is supposed to solve the problem? Or Version 4.5, which was a known regression.
If you don't have 4.5.1, update.

I checked, it's 4.5, and Check for Updates claims I'm up to date. I'll try restarting my PC.

4.5.1 is available on https://musescore.org/en/download, it is not yet available via the automatic updates

Ah, is there a reason why patches don't immediately end up in automatic updates?

Yes, there is.

In case last minute regressions show up.
