Finale (Japanese Version) Fonts
Hi.
I know that in Musescore, I will finally be able to use SMuFL fonts in v4.6. In addition, I have suggested that Chaconne Ex (the SMuFL version of Chaconne, a Japanese Finale font) should also be added to Musescore soon. I hope that the addition of Chaconne Ex should enhance our music scene. So do you think it is reasonable that Chaconne Ex should be added to Musescore?

As far as I can tell this is a commercial font, so it sure won't get built into MuseScore

What exactly are commercial fonts? And why aren't they built into MuseScore?
The above article says that Chaconne Ex is becoming integrated into Dorico, so I also want it to become integrated into MuseScore.

Basically fonts that are not available for free.

The above does not say that Chaconne is becoming integrated into Dorico. It says you can purchase it and it will work in Dorico.
As from MuseScore 4.6, 3rd party SMuFL fonts such as Chaconne will also work in MuseScore (unless someone decide it will be for a later version - or never, one never knows)
