How to get rid of rests?
Hello Everyone,
I am trying to create some short dictation exercises for my class. Some of the notes would be given and some they would need to fill out. How can I get rid of the rests so they can fill out the measures?
Thank you

You can't get rid of (voice 1) rests (note is sound, rest is silence, you can only replace one by the other), but you can make them invisible on the printout by selecting them and hit V or ticking 'Visible' in Inspector

This answer just says it all in the least amount of words. Nice one Jojo ;)

A speciality of mine, some of my teachers back in the school days didn't fancy this, esp. not on my German and English essays, never longer than 3 pages, where my classmates easily made 15 ;-)

Thank you! And now a really stupid question from me: where do I find "Inspector?"

Right hand side of the screen, by default or after pressing F8. In MuseScore 2.x that is, in 1.x there's no such thing, but the V shortcut works there too

Never mind, I found it! Thank again!
