Switching off "red notes"[Solved]
Have tried to look this up in Marc Sabatella's "Mastering MuseScore" but could not find a clue:
When entering notes in a sheet for Classical Guitar, I am confronted with a red coloured note when
entering for instance a low D. This happens when the sixth string is detuned to a low D,
which is an octave below the fourth string D.
I know it is some kind of warning that the entered note is below the normal range for Guitar but I want
to switch it off. Is that possible?

Thanks Shoichi! To my embarrassment I completely overlooked this although I had examined the "Preferences" numerous times. I am getting old......

'I'm old not obsolete',
That is perhaps a far better view......
You can change the range of the instrument too
Or you could right-click on the staff, select Staff Properties... and adjust the bottom notes of the range from E3 to D3. See the screenshot below.

Wow!
I didn't know this. Having given this clue, I found this possibility in "Individual staff and instrument properties" on page 263 in Marc's excellent book.
