Can't Flip Stems in Guitar Tablature
I'm notating a piece of guitar tablature for a friend. He prefers all the stems to be facing upwards. Once I start notating it though, Musescore won't let me flip the stem direction. What's even more strange, if I open one of the earlier TABs that I made, I can flip the stems no problem.
How do I fix this?

See: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/staff-properties#advanced-style-prope… which a few pictures down shows how to flip the stems using the staff properties dialog box.

Yes, mikes link is the right way to change the stem direction in a tablature.
But I wonder about the entry "Flip direction" in the context menu by selecting a stem in a tablature and using right click. It's a bug or should it removed?
Thanks for the suggestions. I also found a workaround by using the third voice option. It was stemmed up by default.

No need to use the third voice.
Do: right-click on the Tab -> Staff properties -> Advanced style properties -> Note values -> Stem position: tick "Above" -> Ok
You can use the attached file as a template: Stem above.mscz
