Midi keyboard sound playback
Hi, i just conected my midi keyboard to use it with musescore and found that it always uses the sound of the first instrument in the mixer. I just added a piano as the first instrument on the score and marked it as hidden to get piano playback from the midi keyboad. Is there any way to set it up so that it always uses the piano sound for playback on all scores without having to add the extra piano?
Thanks!

It should use the sound of the actual instrument you are inputting notes for. So if you are inputting notes onto the flute staff, it uses a flute sound, but if you are inputting onto a violin staff, it uses a violin sound, etc. Are you saying you are inputting notes for say flute but for some reason you want it to sound like piano? Not quite understanding why you'd want that, but if you do, you could change the sound of the flute staff to piano in the Mixer.

Perhaps: while Musescore plays the score, he also wants to play the (live) piano on it.

Playing alongside would be nice, is there a way to do that without a separate program?

I use the piano's internal voice. (88 key console e-piano)
Latencies in computer programs are making me crazy :)

Not sure what internal voice means, my keyboard dosent have speakers or internal sounds it has to be conected to a computer to make sound. Latency is not a issue for me, i get like 10ms or something, its not like i have to récord the piano playback

I mean Console Piano:

Oh i see, im not a pianist myself so that would be to much money for me hehe. I use 5 octave Korg micro key and it also makes the chord fingerings easier since the keys are half the size.

Hi, i play with the midi keyboard to try things before writing them when not inputing notes. Before i used to have a piano standalone program to play, but since in musescore you can leave note input mode and the midi keyboard still produces sound i dont have to use a separare program for that. The hidden piano as first instrument in the mixer is working for me right now but i dont know if theres an easier way.

If you can live with the latency, that seems fine, but if it were me I'd use another program designed for real-time performance.
