Those who prefer the older versions, may I ask why? I'm brand new to MUSESCORE and have the newest version, so I'm not familiar with the older versions.

There are some regressions with sound a) for tenor drums and b) on Mac, which don't exist on 2.0.3(.1)

But unless you are one of the people running into these problems, for the vast majority of users, there would no reason to revert to any older version - each new version fixes hundreds of bugs, plus usually a feature or two. In every other respect, 2.1 is the best version of MuseScore, and will remain so until the next one is released - and if it wasn't better it wouldn't be released :-)

After I upgraded to 3.6 I can't find the older scores from the pervious version.

They are in the same place as ever before. Use Finder (Mac) or Explorer (Windows) to find them.
