If there is any doubt about a problem on your PC you can use Nirsoft BlueScreenView

Blue screen issues represent bugs in the OS itself, often triggered by other issues with device drivers or similar programs. Try starting MuseScore from the command line with the -s or -w options (see the Handbook for more info) and that might be able to help isolate which driver is triggering the problem.
Which Microsoft OS?
Have you tried uninstalling, downloading a new .msi installation file, then re-installing?
I also was having the problem under Windoes 7. As Marc Sabatella sugested, I tried launching with -s and -m and it solved the blue screen probem! However, now I don't have sound and midi (i'll try again latter but I think the real issue is the internal sound synth "-s").
Any sugestion on how to activate them without crashing my system again?

Have you looked at https://musescore.org/en/handbook/known-incompatibilities to make sure you don't have one of these? If your devices are not known to be incompatible, have you tried to unplug them from the computer to see if MuseScore starts?
