Persistent crash of MuseScore 2.1 871c8ce
Click on measure 96 of the attached file and MuseScore crashes every time.
Click on the measure before or after and no problem - just measure 96.
I wonder why?

Strange, it opened without reporting corruptions for me. (But does indeed crash later)
Seems an xml import, can you share the xml file too?
Score claims to be online as https://musescore.com/score/4904695 but is not?
Or is it the result of a PDF import? If so, can you share the PDF?
There's a local time sig in effect:
Current master crashes on this right on load, due to a failed assertion it seems:
Fatal: Mscore: ticks_beat(): bad divisor 72 (...\MuseScore\libmscore\sig.cpp:26, int Ms::ticks_beat(int))

Here is the xml file created by SmartScore X2 Pro recognizing the attached PDF.
Also, what is the significance of "Measure Properties" when there are two time signatures, as in this measure?

That nominal denominator is just bad, it got to be a power of 2. Hence the assertion failure in master.
And the actual denominator obviously is wrong, there are no 36 quarters.

OK, but when two time signatures are involved and even if there is no problem such as what we have here, what "measure" would the "properties" in this window be referring to?

Good question. Next one please ;-)

Also, look at the PDF as scored by the composer and see what I had to do to it to get MuseScore to notate it.
Walton has for the vocals one measure of "4/2" subdivided into 4 parts, with an accompaniment below of "4x 9/8" also subdivided - but not really, since each subdivision really is 9/8.
I think my solution was a reasonable one, but what went wrong with that measure 96?

I can open this file, and play measures before and after this one without crashing. It's just when I try to play through this measure, or if I simply click on the measure - or even if I select an an adjacent measure's Properties, and then use the arrows to move the Properties window to this measure, that a crash occurs. I was able to make the screen shot of Measure Properties, above, but when I went to close the Properties box, MS crashed.

To fix the crash, select the measure before, then shift click the measure after to have all 3 measures selected. At this point you should be able to exchange voices 1 and 2 two times and delete the extra rests out of voice 2. If this does not work, then you can select the 3 measures as above and delete them to get rid of the corruption that causes a crash.

MuseScore Songbook does not crash when encountering this measure.
