Multibar rest stretching
When stretching or shrinking multibar rests, MuseScore renders the result wrong.
Example: multibars.mscz
multibars1.png - that file
multibars2.png - immediate visual result of stretching
multibars3.png - correction after deleting the tempo marking. Closing and opening the score also corrects the rendering.

Changing leading a d trailing space is not the way to stretch a multimeasure rests, do not select the rest, but the measure and then use the { or } shortcut.
The fact that you can increase those values via the up/down arrows, but not enter anything larger than 9.99 directly into that input field, while the max seems to be 10 might be a bug, but mist probably not worth the sweat?

Whoops, thanks! I've been stretching everything wrong all these years...
Let's close it then

Maybe the option to adjust trailing space should be disabled, as it doesn't render consistently?
Well, up to a certain point it does work. Also I could not get it to fails as badly as your images show
