Reverse Cymbals
Hello,
I used reverse cymbals in 2.1 and 2.2 version, but in 2.2 the sound seems to last much less than the notation.
Is this an expected behavior? In any case how can I achieve the same thing as for 2.1?

Thanks

By using the 2.1 soundfont, maybe? You can get it from a link in the soundfont handbook page

Thx for the input... I copied the 2.1 soundfont from the other version but the result is still the same.

Locally or on MuseScore.com?

Then try the Portable App 2.1 version?

I'm trying exactly with that one for both 2.1 and 2.2 :)

So you know how to get the sound you want. Or what am I missing here?
If I understand it right 2.2 cuts that reverse cymbal short, irrespective on the soundfont used and different from 2.1, which does 'let ring' the sound.

Exactly, apparently there is no way with 2.2 to have the notation matching the sound duration.
Is it a bug or a desired behavior?
In any case as workaround I'm thinking to use normal cymbals with a series of demisemiquavers + crescendo hairpin, but I would like to know if there is a better way while keeping 2.2
